Perhaps one of the most difficult ones to decorate is your teenagers
and choosing teen bedding can be quite a challenge. Little kids are
easier as you can pick a superhero or cartoon character but teens want
something that’s a little more sophisticated while still
looking hip and expressing their individuality.
A lot of teenagers are very specific about the colors that they like
and sometimes those colors are still the same colors that they liked
when they were younger so you may be able to keep the color scheme of
the room and just update with the bedding. For example if your teen has
a blue color scheme, but the accessories are a bit too young you might
want to update the room with new curtains and bedding as befitting of a
team. Try polka dots or stripes, or even something with a little retro

probably want to buy all the pieces in one place. If you’re
buying a duvet, bed skirt and pillow cases you want to match the colors
in them pretty closely and you can’t really rely on your
memory. So, you should either bring the previously bought pieces with
you when searching for the other pieces or just buy them in the
same-store to make sure they match.
One kind of bedding that teen girls really like is embroidered bedding.
If your teen is very feminine and into the finer things, you might
consider this for her bed. Then again, everyone is different in your
teen may not be into this type of bedding and might prefer yellow
gingham or a simple plain color. To find out, you need to ask them and
a lot of times they don’t have a set idea so it’s a
good idea to take your keynote shopping so they can pick out what they
like.
