Log cabin bedding can be a fun way to make your bedroom cozy and comfy. Pair the bedding with flannel sheets and stay toasty on those cold winter nights. Take the room even further with great cabin accents and faux paint using the ideas below
You can accent your log cabin bedding with great rustic accents. Put up shelving and scatter rustic picture frames made from bark (make them yourself by gluing bark onto plain frames!) and fill them with photos of your latest camping trip. Look for old oars at garage sales and use them as curtain rods to hold your drapes. You can buy any number of rustic lamps that have animal shaped, fish shaped bases or even bases shaped like a creel. Fill the room with rustic baskets filled with potpourri for a great look and smell!
Of course your log cabin bedding would be much more snuggly and comfy with a fireplace, but what if your bedroom doesn't have one? You can get the ambiance of one by putting up a mantel - you can make a rustic one yourself out of old worn wood or simply buy one already made. Underneath where the fire would be, place a candle stand that holds several candles in a row. When the candles are lit, you'll fill just like a cozy fire is smouldering away in your room.
